Bells Shoes was established over 100 years ago by Edward Bell. In 1960 the Martin family purchased the business which is renowned for excellent service and quality footwear. Today, Bells is a chain of four stores (including two Clarks franchises) trading in Buxton, Macclesfield and Leek.Our independent stores in Buxton and Leek create a classic and modern environment where we can offer men’s and women’s footwear, handbags and shoecare products from some of the most sought after manufacturers in the world. All of our shoes and handbag brands are selected for their style, fit and value for money.
In 2007 Bells Shoes website was launched allowing both loyal and new customers to browse our ranges and make a purchase online. It is our intention on the website to emulate our unrivalled levels of customer service and choice seen in our stores. Both the stores and the website will run along side each other and wherever possible will offer the same product ranges, prices and special offers. However, sometimes our stores will carry more lines than the website, please contact us for more details.

If you have the name/code number of the product you require, type it into the search and if we stock the item it will appear. If we don’t, please contact us and we will check if we can order the product in for you or perhaps suggest a suitable alternative. Please call 01538 381332 if you would like to speak to one of our instore sales team. They will be delighted to help you regarding fit, size and styling of particular brands or styles. You can place your order over the phone if you so wish.
When you purchase online you will be able to return/exchange by post or at one of our stores if it is more convenient. We will respond to queries as efficiently and promptly as we can and despatch processed orders the same working day wherever possible.
