Delivery
Your order will be processed and despatched within 48 hours on weekdays and on the next working day if placed at the weekend. If you do not receive the goods within 10 working days (20 working days for overseas) please contact us.
Delivery Charges
Postage and Packing is £2.95 to all UK mainland addresses, for 1st Class Royal Mail. For added peace of mind you can opt for 1st Class Recorded Delivery for just £3.95 which offers proof of postage and a signature on arrival.
If you live locally or are visiting Buxton or Leek you may wish to pick your item up in store. If you do choose this option we will phone you once it is ready to be collected.
NEW - We now offer SPECIAL DELIVERY (Royal Mail) in the UK at a rate of £6.95 which guarantees delivery by 1pm the next working day. Please note to take advantage of this service:
1) Your order must be placed by 3pm. If placed after this time it will be dispatched the next working day. If placed on a Friday SPECIAL DELIVERY will arrive on Monday. Please note Saturday is not counted as a working day.
2) Is subject to your order not weighing more than 2kg (most orders will be under, some mens shoes and 2 pair orders will be over 2kg) We will let you know immediately if this is the case.
3) If for any reason we are unable to dispatch your order immediately we will call you.
All orders despatched by SPECIAL DELIVERY will require a signature.
Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee Special Delivery on all Clarks Shoes due to them being obtained from our stores which are in different locations. If you are hoping to obtain Clarks Shoes next day we suggest you call us because depending on where they are located it might be possible.

*Please note where possible, all overseas orders will automatically be sent via AirSure. However, as this service is limited to just 30 worldwide destinations Airmail will be used for all other countries (excluding ROI who can choose from either service). This will be indicated at the checkout.
You may be liable to pay import duties from customs. (applies to countries outside of Europe) which vary from country to country.
For orders within the UK or EU 17.5% VAT is included.
Returns
In every order a returns label, returns form and ToughSac Mailing Bag are included. Once you have read the refund/exchange conditions please take to a Post Office and send to us making sure you obtain a proof of postage certificate. Please include a completed returns form which indicates if you would like a refund, an exchange (perhaps a different size) or if you require contacting by us to suggest alternatives.
Please note, costs involved in returning a product are not free of charge however, the initial postage cost you pay covers all outgoing exchange postage relating to your order. All exchanges within the UK will be sent FREE of charge by 1st Class Royal Mail. Please let us know if you require Special/Recorded Delivery as this is available at an additional cost.
Also, (if you live locally) we can accept all exchanges/refunds at either our Bells Stores in Buxton (43 Spring Gardens, 2 doors from M & S) or in Leek. Please be aware that the processing of the return transaction takes place in Buxton therefore items returned at Leek may take a couple of days to be processed.
Exchanges/Refunds
If an item is returned for an exchange or refund please follow these guidelines.
1) Unworn items must be returned within 28 days of receipt. Please ensure shoes are only tried on indoors on carpeted surfaces.
2) A returns form must be filled in and included. Please do not glue or tape the form to the box.
3) Returned items must be in their original box with labels still attached.
4) Any damaged goods received must be highlighted to us within 10 days.
5) Return postage is non refundable except in circumstances where the product is faulty. In this case you must contact us before returning the product, by email or phone.
6) We do not charge for outgoing exchange postage if you wish to try an alternative style, colour or size.
7) There is no administration fee for any goods returned to us.
8) We insist you obtain a certificate for 'Proof of Postage' (issued free of charge) from the Post Office when returning items to us.
9) We will process your Exchange/Refund the same day wherever possible. Please allow 5 working days for the funds to show in your account
None of the above affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
It is our intention to offer a problem free mailing service.
Payment
We accept most major debit/credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta, Switch/Maestro, Solo or Electron Cards.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept American Express.
If you prefer to make payment and/or place your order over the phone please call our freephone number on 0800 876 6863. One of our sales team will be happy to assist you. All prices on the website are quoted in GBP and include 17.5% VAT. If you are shopping from anywhere outside of the UK, place your order and your credit/debit card will convert to your own currency on your statement.
Credit/Debit Card Security
Your credit card details are encrypted by Nitrosell (our webstore provider) and held securely on their server. Encryption takes place both before processing and when stored on the database. Credit card details are never held in a clear text format.
We use REALEX Payments to manage our transactions and Alliance & Leicester to auothrise them. Please be assured that when you insert your credit/card details on the confirmation page your transaction is 100% secure.
